陸靈笑了下，安慰地看向安娜和愛麗絲，「不，不，我永遠不會後悔。我只是想到了，不是想到了尼克，而是想到了我以前是怎麼看待婚禮和婚姻的。」她咽了咽口水，繼續緩緩道，「我很感謝你們，不僅你們，還有很多人，包括尼克。沒有你們，我今天不會站在這裡。」
沉默持續了幾秒。
「你們倒是沒邀請尼克。」愛麗絲率先嘆了一句。
「不邀請前任是對的！」安娜連忙說，仍是有點擔心的模樣。
愛麗絲知道安娜是太關心弟弟了，但她還是提醒道，「那艾比和提姆呢？」
安娜不屑，「他倆算什麼前任，誰想得起來啊？我剛才碰到莫妮卡，莫妮卡自己都說她經常調侃這個……」
陸靈忍俊不禁，緊張稍稍得到了緩解。「尼克不會想來參加我的婚禮，派特不希望他來，我也覺得這是最好的。」她說著笑了笑，活動了下肩膀，「我準備好了。讓菲爾進來吧。我要去嫁給派崔克-基斯-安柏。」

她終於出現了。伴著樂隊奏響《Can You Feel the Love Tonight》。
派崔克站在這一頭，看著她從那一頭，一步一步走向自己。他的眼睛再也看不到任何其他，他的腦子裡也再也沒有任何別的，只有她。
她美極了，他無法形容。她穿著潔白的魚尾婚紗，她的黑髮高高盤起，她的嘴角微微彎著，她的眼睛看著他的眼睛。
時間靜止了，時間無比漫長。
在派崔克意識到之前，他的心跳到了嗓子眼，他的眼淚即將洶湧而出。
菲爾-比斯利挽著她來到了派崔克的面前。
派崔克的眼淚掉了下來，他亦是溫柔的微笑著的。
她微微的笑，輕輕地落淚。
現場很多人都跟他們一樣。究竟是什麼的力量，沒有人知道。
菲爾把她的手交到了派崔克的手裡。菲爾神奇地什麼都沒說，他只是也流了淚。
她對菲爾做了個「謝謝」的口型。菲爾這才說話，聲音極低，「照顧好她，好嗎？」
派崔克看向菲爾，鄭重地承諾，「當然。謝謝，菲爾。」

陸靈抓著派崔克的手，派崔克也抓著陸靈的手。
婚禮誓詞的時刻，現場寂靜無聲。
派崔克沒有拿紙條，他凝視著她的眼睛，跟她說：
